   The video sharing website Youtube has permeated our culture deeply. Millions of people visit youtube every day, posting, viewing and sharing a plethora of videos. A popular video can go "viral" and sweep across the world in a matter of hours or days.



The Video "GANGNAM STYLE" gained over a billion and a half views.

Although Youtube has been around since 
2005 the side is still a tool that transmits 
the most recent trends making it useful for 
so many. Due to college students creation 
of or awareness of trends, their use of

Youtube enables the nearly instant transmission of information.

role in that phenomonon.
