Constructed in 1896 the Winthrop Crawford Building is home to the Office of Disability Services, health and counseling services and Center for Career & Civic Engagement.
The Crawford building is essential to the functionality of the University.
Drawing off the Italian renaissance, the architecture and arches of the Crawford building are a refreshing sight amidst the Modern, Neo-georgian and Romanesque architecture scattered throughout campus.
The first floor hosts the Center for Career and Civic Engagement.
The bottom floor contains a main hall with offices on either side and help desk near the entrance. This Office assists students with career preparation, involvement on campus and volunteer opportunities.
The Second floor is home to the Department of Health and Counseling Services.
The Health Center is strategically located upstairs with an elevator at the back of the building, it keeps an 8-hour day to assist students with their physical and mental health needs. The Crawford building serves as a hub for engagement and wellbeing located near the center of Winthrop's campus.
